Ryanair plans to operate extra flights on Wednesday and Thursday from Fuerteventura. This will allow those stuck on the island to reach mainland Europe...and also holiday makers waiting to get out, once the backlog clears.
Bare in mind the situation is changing on a daily basis so please check before just turning up at the airport.
Fortunately the volcanic ash has not affected the island directly as yet... so if you are stuck on the island- can thnik of worse places to be stuck, pop into the dome, sip a cold beer and top your tan up before you leave!!
